Airport Users Group
This forum is held every 6 months (usually in September and March) and offers airport tenants and users the opportunity to feedback and raise points for discussion. The primary focus is safety and operational requirements. Full Terms of Reference are available in the SMS Manual within the GPA Aerodrome Manual.
Airport Security Committee
This forum is held every 6 months (usually in September and March directly after the Airport Users Group) and offers airport tenants and users the opportunity to feedback and raise points for discussion. The primary focus is security related issues and changes in legislation. Full Terms of Reference are available in the Airport Security Plan. Commercial issues are not discussed at either of these meetings.
The Airport communicates important information to airport users and tenants by means of a series of information notices. These are distributed by email to a pre-defined list of recipients. Additional recipients can be added on request.
Tenant Information Notices (TINs)
Used and issued by GPA Commercial department to convey important information to tenants / concessionaires, this includes information pertaining to GPA’s railway station. The scope of these notices is open to any subject.
Airfield Safety Notices (ASNs)
Used to convey important safety related information regarding the airfield including planned works and changes in infrastructure and policies.
Health, Safety & Environmental Notices (SHENs)
Used to convey important health & safety or environmental related information regarding personnel working at the airport.
Security Information Notices (SINs)
Used to convey important security related information including changes in operating rules.
Fire Safety Notices (FSNs)
Used to convey important information regarding fire safety and fire management procedures.
