Before you arrive

Check your passport and travel documents – The amount of time needed on your passport depends on the country you’re visiting. Check the Government travel advice for your destination and read the entry requirements section. If your passport does not have the required validity, you will not be allowed to board your plane.

Online Check-in – Ryanair offers online check-in only. You can check in via their website, Ryanair.com, or through the Ryanair mobile app. If you have pre-reserved a seat, you can check in online up to 60 days before your scheduled departure. However, both your outbound and return flights must be within those 60 days. If you have not reserved a seat and it will be assigned randomly, check-in opens 24 hours before your flight and closes two hours before departure. You can use printed boarding passes or save an electronic version on your phone or the airline’s app.

When to arrive – Check-in desks open three hours before your flight departure time and close 40 minutes prior to the departure time.
It is recommended that you arrive three hours before your scheduled departure time to ensure you can comfortably check-in any baggage, transit through security and relax in our departure lounge before boarding for your flight.

Baggage – If you have bags to check in, please make your way to the baggage drop desks which are located at the front of the terminal. Have your boarding passes and passports ready for bag drop. After bag drop, you can continue to security screening.

Passengers who have checked in online, don’t have baggage to check in and have their boarding passes ready can make their way directly to security.

Information on baggage can be found here
