Situated on the Glasgow Central to Ayr railway line, Glasgow Prestwick Airport is served by its own railway station which is accessible by a covered walkway to/from the airport terminal building.

The journey from Glasgow Central Station to Glasgow Prestwick Airport takes around 40 minutes. There are two trains an hour from approximately 6:00am to 00:15am – Sundays 09:00am to 11:00pm.

All passengers traveling to and from the airport receive 50% discount on the standard fare.

If joining the train at Glasgow Prestwick Airport show you flight confirmation to the train conductor when buying your ticket (there is no ticket office at Prestwick Airport).

Passengers joining the train at a station with a ticketing office, please purchase your tickets before boarding the train.
