Rail Travel Disruption

Due to a devastating fire close to Glasgow Central Station, train services to and from the station are currently disrupted.

Services to Glasgow Central Station  are not operating at this time. Trains serving Prestwick Airport rail station are currently operating hourly and are terminating at Paisley Gilmour Street.

Passengers travelling to or from Glasgow Prestwick Airport by rail should allow extra time for their journey and check the latest travel information before travelling.

Increase of flight operations at Glasgow Prestwick Airport

Glasgow Prestwick Airport would like to make local residents and the general public aware that throughout this month, May 2021, and the beginning of June there will be an increase of Military flight activity around the airport.

The airport will be supporting UK and NATO Military training exercises.

Glasgow Prestwick Airport will work alongside personnel taking part in the exercises to ensure there is minimal disruption to local residents during this period.
