Glasgow Prestwick Airport (GPA) has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager, experienced in commercial roles, with excellent communication and analytical skills to join our dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience of having the responsibility for a financial portfolio within a commercial environment. The role requires a passionate individual who is self-confident, adaptable, and proactive with the ability to drive change in the organisation. The role is office based, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary dependent on experience.

Job Scope:

As a Commercial Manager, you will primarily manage car park, concession and filming revenue streams, maximising revenue potential in these areas and developing and maintaining key partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing the Airport’s car parking and concessions revenue streams to maximise revenue potential.
  • Lead the development of filming revenue opportunities to grow existing revenue.
  • Lead ad hoc commercial projects to develop new revenue opportunities.
  • Analysis of performance data.
  • Manage the weekly and monthly financial reporting.
  • Lead the tender process for new concession contracts.
  • Manage partner relationships across concessions and car parking.
  • Manage the Airport’s surface transport interests including rail, taxi, and bus services.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience of working within a commercial environment and having responsibility for a financial portfolio. Airport experience is not essential.
  • Experience of analysing data to identify insights and deliver business growth.
  • Experience of developing and delivering engaging presentations and sales materials.
  • Experience of maintaining and developing a large number of relationships, both internal and external.

  • Numerate, with strong analytical skills.
