Nine Long Service Awards at Airport
NINE members of staff at Prestwick Airport have celebrated twenty years’ continuous service.
They are John McCafferty from Saltcoats, Sean Flynn (Prestwick) and Douglas Flynn (Irvine) from the Airport Fire Station; Thomas Carey (Ayr), Charles McMurray (Prestwick) and John McKie (Prestwick) in Ground Services; Commercil’s Alison Blackman (Stevenston), Engineering’s Ian Garner (Irvine) and David McClelland (Ayr) from Airfield Operations.
All nine received a presentation and enjoyed some cake to mark the special occasion.
Chief Executive Iain Cochrane said: “These nine people are Prestwick through and through. Their twenty years’ service shows the fantastic dedication and commitment they have towards their airport and I thank them sincerely for their long and loyal service.”
