AIRPORT SHED RAISES £300 FOR CHARITY
THE South Ayrshire Autistic Society has been boosted by a £300 donation from a warm-hearted worker at Prestwick Airport.
Prestwick’s Office Manager Carol-Anne Elliott explained: “We had a shed here that was being dismantled so we thought it would be a great idea to auction it off for charity.
“Airfield Operations Supervisor Andy Barclay had the highest bid at £301.50 and he decided that he would donate the cash to the local Autistic Society.

“It was a wonderfully generous gesture by Andy. We’re also grateful to everyone at Prestwick who made bids in the fun auction.
“Everyone’s a winner – we have freed up some space here at the airport, the charity has benefited from a cash boost and Andy is the proud possessor of a fine shed!”
