Over the past 10 years Glasgow Prestwick's freight business has grown significantly - a testament to our first class facilities and ability to handle ‘main deck’ freighter traffic efficiently and professionally.
Numerous ad-hoc airfreight charter movements also utilise Glasgow Prestwick and a number of major forwarders are located at or close to the airport.
Currently, freight has shown a small year-on-year increase in July, going from 1027 tonnes last year to 1033 tonnes this year, a 0.6% increase.
